“THE BOY” Anthony Beckham was born October 21st, 1972 in a very small town called Wauchula and raised in an even smaller town called Zolfo Springs in Hardee County, Florida.  The youngest of four children, Anthony was raised in poverty literally in front of a junkyard but was still extremely happy there knowing his parents gave him the very best they could afford.  Actually, as a young boy he loved to climb up in a tree in his front yard just to get a better look at the cars in the junkyard as they were being crushed, all the while feeling so lucky to have such a great view!  Though Anthony grew up in poverty around violence, drugs and alcohol, he always managed to keep high expectations for himself, others and life in general.  His mother, Bettie was always amazed that his standards and expectations were always far beyond anything they could ever fathom for his life when considering the circumstances. 


"PREACHER-MAN" The call on Anthony's life was obviously very apparent to anyone who ever knew him or came in contact with him. Without even trying, he seemed to be a "magnet" to any one who was hurting, needing advice or just someone to talk to. With every nugget of wisdom and advice flowed a stream of scripture verses to confirm his council; thus earning him the famed title of "preacher-man" during his high school years.

“THE ATHLETE” After graduating Hardee Senior High School in 1990 weighing only 150 pounds, Anthony chose weightlifting as a pastime that he quickly became passionate about. Refusing to succumb to the pressure to use steroids, Anthony also quickly realized that without muscle enhancing drugs, he would have to be more disciplined and determined if he ever hoped to attain his lofty goals in the sport. His discipline and determination coupled with consistency eventually paid off, and today Anthony has attained his goals by gaining 20 inch biceps and more than a 465 pound bench press- all 100% natural, drug-free! He is now an accomplished competitive bodybuilder and a highly sought after motivational speaker known to many as “Reverend Hardbody!” .



"THE HUSBAND AND FATHER” Three years after completing his college studies and graduating from the Ministerial Internship Program, Anthony decided to head off to Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee…well, that was until a friend of his introduced him to a young woman by the name of Jennifer. That young woman who was only "passing through" still has yet to leave, that is because she and Anthony began seeing each other and within EIGHT WEEKS they were married. Anthony and Jennifer were married November 16, 1996 in Zolfo Springs, Florida. And on December 1st, 2000 Anthony and Jennifer became proud parents to their first child, a big and beautiful baby boy named Bradley "Cole", and on April 19, 2004, they were blessed with their newest addition, a sweet baby girl named Jordan Paige. 




"REV. HARDBODY" As the founder of Power Unlimited, he and his team members put their bodies on the line daily as they travel the U.S and Canada performing outrageous strength and power feats in public and private school assemblies. As a motivational speaker, breaking through stacks and stacks of concrete blocks, blowing up hot water bottles, rolling up your momma's kitchen frying pans with his bare hands, bending cold rolled steel inches thick with his teeth, Anthony does all of these things...but he does them not to impress you, but rather to get your attention so he can then impress upon you a powerful message that anything you put your mind to can be achieved- just believe! His own personal achieved successes in life and in the sport of bodybuilding have given him a strong platform by which he communicates a powerful, character-shaping message. Anthony challenges students to dare to dream, reach for their destiny, raise their standards, and to be dream makers not dream-breakers!
